Space craft ideas for kids
April 12 is the Day of Cosmonautics, it is a memorable date, because in 1961, the first man went into space, flying around our planet, his name was Yuri Gagarin, the space ship was named “Vostok”. He made a real breakthrough in the world, and realized the dream of mankind.
I share with you the space crafts ideas for kids – this appliqiue is very bright and lively, even with a black background. Making this craft with your child you can tell him a lot of interesting information about our galaxy, solar system, planets, stars, space ships and human studies in this field. And to make it more interesting and informative in the end of the workshop you will find the cartoon – Astronomy for kids.
You need for the craft:
Piece of black paper
Colored paper of various colors
Scissors
Glue
Markers
Glue planets on a sheet of paper to create a galactic space. Here is the moon – a satellite of the Earth, the only place in the cosmos, visited by man. And here is Mars – the red planet, because its soil contains a lot of iron oxide.
You can use different round objects as templates, it may be different caps, glasses or bottles.
Make a rocket! I cut parts out of paper of different colors and glued them together.
The main heroes of our craft are dogs, because they were the first, who conquered space on the spacecraft. The most famous dogs are astronauts Belka and Strelka.
Another variant of rocket-applique:
You can finish a few details with markers, for example, a pleased little face of the astronaut in a porthole.
We have added a few more planets – Saturn, known for its ring system, Mercury and Neptune. And an astronaut on the moon and the funny alien in UFO.
Then we added shiny paper asterisks.
And now, as I promised – a cartoon – Astronomy for kids.
