Today we draw balloons with watercolor technique “wet-on-wet”, we will show you a very simple and colorful example how to use this technique.

You will need:
A3 sheet of paper
Watercolor
Brushes
A pencil
Lids of different sizes for stencils
Candle
Jar of water

Holding the lid with your finger, ask the child to circle it with pencil.

Draw a line from every ball.

Now cover the outline of a pencil with a candle.

Here is the “wet” stage. Sheet should be wet on both sides, shake off excess water. Then, put it on the desk with the picture up, so that it will smoothly adhere to the surface of the table.

Start colorization, if you have a small child, try to limit the amount of colors, 3 colors are enough.

If  you put neat points with a thin brush, then you get the balls, which have flown away into the sky.
