A craft applique – Summer Memories
Everything is white outside, we see the sun seldom, and I’m missing the summer, we have recently seen pictures how we swam in the sea and flew a kite, and we decided to make this craft applique from the paper and we called it “The summer memories”!
In my opinion the craft is a very positive and bright!
I bought a lot of wrapping paper for gifts before the New Year and decided to use it for this craft – it was really good idea!
As a base we took a standard sheet of blue paper and glued above a strip of green paper – it is grass)))
So we made the kite – Timmy cut pieces of wrapping paper, we glued them on a sheet of white paper and I cut diamond and butterfly, folded sheet in half for symmetry.
We added clouds and flowers.
Standard kite has a diamond-shape with a tail, a butterfly and a terrible Dragon. We made also a little “bonus” – the tail of wool yarn with paper triangles, we glued one end to the kite, and the other is free.
At first, we wanted to draw our family as the main characters, but Timmy saw giraffes on wrapping paper and I decided to cut them out, they really are very nice)))
Here is the finished craft!
And as always, here is happy Timmy!
